Exploring Bellingham: Teddy Bear Cove

Teddy Bear Cove is always one of my favorite spots to go on a sunny day, even days when it is cloudy. It's just so picturesque with the waterfront area/beach and the wooded areas. MudLynn especially loves going there every so often.

It's just a wonderful place to go to when you have had a stressful day. Its peace and quiet is just soothing and wonderful. Mud sure had a good time walking into the water, although she did almost fully slip in walking on a slippery rock.

Blog Name Change!

So I've had a epiphany a while ago. I've decided to change my blogs name to fit this new, real version of me.

I want this blog to truly show my life the way it is through my adventures and such. I will still do some fashion posts, but they will be Bellingham inspired fashion looks.

I know this is a big change, but I really like the name The Bellinghamster!

Exploring Bellingham: Rocket Doughnuts

This past Friday, one of my friends and I went to Rocket Doughnuts. Possibly, the only doughnut shop in Bellingham. After living on the East Coast, I grew up with the ritual of getting doughnuts Saturday mornings. Moving here, the closest doughnut place is Krispy Kreme in Tacoma or Rocket Doughnuts in Bellingham.

The doughnuts at Rocket Doughnut were so good, it was sinfully good. The doughnuts I bought were two frosted cake doughnuts, but they were delicious. Rocket Doughnuts had a doughnut that was almost the size of a dinner plate or even my head.

But other than that, it was a wonderful Friday afternoon before work and two well deserved doughnuts. I am trying to go to as many little places in Bellingham before I move back home to Poulsbo.

I have a few more posts of Bellingham places I've been! Stay tuned.

Life Last Week: 2016-1

I'm really enjoying my job at PetSmart. Each day I learn something new to do, plus I see so many cute puppies! I saw a really cute mini Husky and 8 week old Husky puppy this week. I love giving all the dogs treats when they come to the register.

MudLynn's hair is slowly growing back from her surgery! Yay! Although, we do have future ultrasounds and x-rays. She had a mass removed from her back a few weeks ago and it turned out to be cancerous. Let's hope the ultrasounds and x-rays show nothing on the screens!

I also announced last week that I am moving back to Virginia with my parents, but I've also made the decision to move back to Poulsbo for the Spring quarter. Olympic College has a few fashion classes that I want to take since I am going to be a fashion merchandising major when I transfer to Old Dominion University next year. I am super excited for the classes, but most of all I am excited to be going home. I miss my mom!

Oh yeah, and I change my major for the last and final time!! I am going from Journalism to Recreation to a Fashion Merchandising major. I made this decision based off a few conclusions, well maybe a lot of them. I don't like being outdoorsy (rec major out), I like writing my opinion and I can't turn it off (jour major out) and I love clothes, make-up and all that goodness (fashion merchandising major IN).

DIY Queen and the Weekly Reads

Lately, I've been a bit more selfish about things that I like to do. For example, reading and DIY. DIY is things are so fun to do. I h...
