Q is for Queer Trends at Western! Jesus sandals and tapestries are some of the
weird trends that I have encountered living in Bellingham. When it comes to
tapestries, students just nail them to the wall and not at all effectively.
Some are quite interesting, but then some are just that weird hippie pattern. Now onto my second topic: the Jesus sandals.
I don’t understand why most of the people in Bellingham wear them. I mean, they
make your feet look bad (in my opinion) and they’re just really ugly. Like, I
don’t understand why people want to wear them. I guess I’ll never know the
Washingtonian way since I am a New Englander.
