Upcoming Things

Okay, tomorrow I am going to filming my "What's in My Big Kors" and hopefully it will be uploaded by tomorrow evening. Then I am going to be outlining a new video for College Success and Organization Tips.

Also, my tipsy glam bag is in prepping mode so once it is shipped it should be here soon!

Stay tuned!

Monday Funtime

Hello everyone! Sorry I am blogging late, I was exhausted after my lesson yesterday.

Oh my Lord, Hercules was filthy when I brought him out of his stall. They went out earlier in the morning and then came in before I got to the barn. I literally had the towel rub him so that he would be somewhat dry when we would start riding. I think it took me about 20-30 minutes to do both sides of him. I am sorry, I don't have a "before" photo of him. However I do have a photo of the towel I used on him!

This is only half the rag, the other half was even darker.
In the end of the grooming nightmare, I actually got him really clean. It was as if he was never even dirty.

Before our lesson!
Surprisingly, Hercules was really quiet, it was a kind of creepy quiet. He usually was never that quiet. After about 5-6 jumps over a cross rail, he sort of lost his brain. I was starting to like the way he was when we started riding because he was nice and quiet. We didn't do very much in the lesson as it was starting to get very cold. We did a lot of walking, trotting, sitting trots, and a few canters. We had to be careful with his lungs because of the chilly cold air. He did get a few carrots and a core from the apple I ate earlier before and after the lesson.

My instructor said she loved the present I left her for Christmas! In return, she gave me a new pair of Zocks! I was in dire need of a new pair anyways for the summer! I love it when instructors do the sweet little things for their students, it is sweet when they show their love.

Sleepy boy after the lesson…
On a final note, I just want to keep you up to date. I have now moved my lessons to Thursdays since my Spring Semester classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays. Instead of Monday Funtime, it will now become Thursday Funtime.

Alpaca Coat instead of Textbooks?

Today, I went to Barnes and Noble to get my books for the semester and I have to tell you, they are extremely heavy. I am praying that I do not have to take them all with me each day or else my back with break like a match stick. But before my mum and I went to Barnes, we found these gorgeous coats  by Kate Landry. They were made from Alpaca wool and they were unbelievably soft. I was literally drooling over them. I really did like one that looked like a trench coat, but I liked it in black rather than camel. They were somewhat on sale, but their sale price was nearly equivalent to the cost of my text books.

Hopefully, my mum and I will check the mall sometime next week to see if their price went down a bit more; I really do hope so.

Anyways, I also went to the MICHAEL KORS store to get some leather cleaner for my Selma since it has a slight mark on it. While I was there I picked up an application, which I was so happy to pick up. It is all filled out, now I just have to take it back in. To work in that store would be a dream come true because I love MICHAEL KORS so much! The bags, shoes, clothes, watches, and jewelry are just stunning. To me, that store is heaven; my own personal heaven.

Well, ta-ta guys!

Slowly Developing a Vlog Channel….

Hey guys! I have finally decided to try to develop a Vlog channel on Youtube. I just recently uploaded an old "What's in my Bag" video but I labeled it "What's in my Kors." Please subscribe, comment, critic and share any advice I should need; I would deeply appreciate it.

Hopefully next week, I will do a "What's in my Bag" for my new Selma and then for my new MK cross body bag. I will start off with my smaller camera then maybe use my mum's larger camera in the future.

I know the quality isn't the greatest, but I'm still learning. Please give me any tips that you recommend.

Toodle loo!

Big Bang is No More

It is sad to say that I have finished all the Big Bang Theory seasons that I got for Christmas. I am kind of sad but I now have to wait for Season 7 to be on DVD. I can't wait!

In the mean time, I am focusing on the other series and/or seasons that I have. I've watched The Lord of the Rings already, now I am watching the Pirates of the Caribbean and then later I think I shall watch the Batman series. I like the Lord of the Rings series the most… I love film series that have things such as mythical creatures and places in it. I'm a mythical creature and film nut.

Good Morning 2014!

I hope everyone was safe during New Years with all the parties, but I hope you had fun!

This morning I started the day off with a nice cuppa. I prefer hot chocolate over tea and coffee. The only coffee I'll drink is a White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks, but that is only during university semesters when I am downtown for a whole day. Since we aren't going out anywhere today, my family and I are taking down the Christmas decorations. My main task was to take down all the outdoor decorations, but now I want to put them on again. The porch looks bare now, it was pretty with all the decor.

My little Mud pud never leaves her bed except when she comes to bed with me, then she sleeps on my bed until around early morning when she jumps down to sleep in her bed. She loves it too much to leave it. I love that she is starting to stay in it rather than going on the furniture. As you can see in the photo, she has been loving her Patriots bandana. I'd like to find some Big Bang Theory fabric and send it to the lady who makes the bandana to make Mud a Big Bang Theory bandana. I have stopped putting her in tee-shirts a long time ago. All she wears are the bandanas and her Newmarket barn coat.

I've also learned lately that I'm an introvert. My friend in Rhode Island is an introvert and she helped me come to the conclusion. I am the kind of person who likes to be alone, I prefer one on one conversations rather than spending time in large groups, I am organized, prepared, I do get drained from too much stimulation from social activities, I love to read, I day dream quite a bit, I love to write, prefer texting over on the phone, I am not a partier at all, I am very quiet, and I prefer the company of animals such as horses over people most of the time. I don't mind being a wall flower because I am waiting for the guy that fits my puzzle. I sometimes don't like being single, but then I don't want the drama of fights and such.

Yup, I'm an Introvert.

Just a few days ago, I sent in my transfer application for WWU. Please pray that I get into the university. I would really love to attend WWU. They have the major I want to study, the clubs I would love to join, the sport I love (Equestrian Team), and it's close to where my dad will be stationed. Family support is a major role in my life. Plus I'd like to live on the West Coast because the majority of my family relations live on the West Coast.

Well, that's it for the afternoon! Talk to you later guys!

Cooking with Family

Do you ever wonder what it is like to cook with your family? It's quite lovely actually because we each divide the tasks amongst us all and that makes preparation time go a lot faster. Then that way, it gives us less time to prepare and more time for it to cook, then when the time comes to eat; it won't be so late. Plus, I believe it more meaningful because you are cooking with your parents which is a great bonding opportunity.

Tonight on the menu for New Years is Seafood Casserole. It has Shrimp and Scallops in it with cheese crumb crust. On the side we will have some lovely steamed broccoli. It is going to be served in pastry shells. The kitchen smells so lovely.

As you can see, by the looks of the dish it was delicious. I can't wait till I have an apartment of my own because I will be making this but instead of placing it in pastry dishes, I will do it over spaghetti noodles. I really do think that t would be delicious.

Anyways, Happy Late New Year!!

DIY Queen and the Weekly Reads

Lately, I've been a bit more selfish about things that I like to do. For example, reading and DIY. DIY is things are so fun to do. I h...
