Do you need something to make you laugh? Or something to cheer you up? I have just the thing. My mom shared this video on my profile and I watched it this morning. I was laughing so much my abs started to hurt! If you are a huge Game of Thrones fan, you will absolutely love this. I showed this video to my roommate and it definitely cheered her up today!

The Week Ahead
Outside my window… The weather is warmer than normal. To me, it is a bit too warm.
I am thinking… about the home show this weekend.
I am thankful… For having an awesome mom who comes to all my horse shows.
From the dining hall/kitchen… Today, I had cereal and pineapple for breakfast and Panda Express for lunch. Since I had so much to eat for lunch, I am just skipping breakfast and late night, however Jo and I are having Hot Chocolate and Girls Night again! Woo!
I am hearing… The clicking of keys as my fingers type on my Macbook.
I am watching… nothing.
Always one of my favorite things… Dancing in the room to Zara Larsson!
I am reading… a few of my textbooks.
I am making… Nothing.
I am writing… This blog post!
A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week… Tuesday - I have class and a riding team meeting. Wednesday - classes. Thursday - I have riding and packing for the horse show. Friday - the team and I prep the fairgrounds for the home show. Saturday and Sunday - Horse show!
MudLynn Update… MudLynn is back at home with Mom and Dad. I am missing her cuddles right now.
College Update… The Winter Quarter is going so fast, but this quarter is so much better than Fall Quarter.
Riding Update… Riding is going well. I did really well at the OSU/UO shows. I am going to be working harder tonight since we have our home show. I only need 4 points in order to go to Regionals.

University of Oregon IHSA Horse Show
I had another great day in Beaverton, Oregon for another IHSA show. Since Saturday was OSU (Oregon State University), Sunday was UO (University of Oregon.
The team did an amazing job especially after one of officers, Leanna gave us a pep talk on team work and team spirit. She also talked about us working as a team by aiding others in the mounting area, offering ring side tips (chin up, heels down, chest up and/or shoulders back), and to also encourage one another.
I enjoyed today because I experienced great team work and also gave tips to other riders. One of my teammates rode the draw I had yesterday, so I gave her all the knowledge I gathered on the horse she was riding. I tipped her on the horses canter, sitting trot, and setting up for the canter.
Three of my teammates; Nicole, Whitney and Ashley gave me awesome pointers during and before my ride. Whitney tipped me before my ride that I needed to engage my horse and Nicole and Ashley tipped and critiqued me while I was in the ring.
And this is Fred, my draw from today. Such an amazing horse with flawless gaits. I wanted to take him home with me. I wish I could have thanked his owner for letting me ride him. It was an honor.
I really enjoyed my ride, Fred. He was an amazing ride and such a joy to work with.
I ended the day on a high note with first place. That makes me at 32 points total this year. Four more points and I could go to Regionals, which is my ultimate goal. I can't wait to work in my two practices this week. AH!
I earned two great ribbons due to an amazing coach, supportive team, supportive mom and amazing draws.
My carpool headed home around 1 pm, which was an awesome time because we were home before 6.

OSU IHSA Horse Shows
Hey guys! Today, the WWU IHSA Team and I attended the OSU IHSA Horse Show. The team did fabulous today!
Some of my teammates and I watching the jumpers warm up.
The cool ribbons for OSU. These are so fancy, I love the incorporation of OSU's school colors in with the standard ribbon color.
Such a good student, I did some homework reading at the show before my class. This is a good thing to do at shows when you have down time, I was able to read the introduction of one of my books. Now I am at Starbucks using the wifi because the hotel wifi didn't like my Mac. I was able to complete an Astronomy quiz and the rest of my Logic homework as well as download some study guides for my Astronomy test on Monday. I will be studying tomorrow and on the drive back to school.
End of the day, I got third place out of a class of 9. My other teammate Keelin, who was in my class got second place, so we were in the top three. We all did great as a team and pulled amazing rides. Can't wait to ride tomorrow.

Winter Wonderland Wedding
This month I have spent many hours getting my January Weddington Way Challenge to the best form I wanted it to be.
The challenge is this: If you were the Maid of Honor and the bride asked you to style the bridesmaid look for her big day, what would you suggest?
For a Winter Wonderland wedding in Newport, Rhode Island, I would have advised the bride that navy and silver were the best colors for a wedding. The colors just compliment the crystal white snow perfectly. For example, I would suggest this table setting layout. The silver chargers look so elegant because with each course, the plate of food or dessert would be placed on top.
For the dress, long sleeves is the proper choice for a winter wedding because it provides some sort of coverage from the cold winter winds. The Ella Something dress in Navy is what I would have chosen for the bridesmaids to wear. The dress is perfect to wear because it provides some warmth from the cold. I chose L.K. Bennett "Stila" pumps in Navy from Nordstroms. These shoes are simple yet elegant and compliment the lace and color of the dress, but they do not cause any sort of distraction from the dress.

For the hair, I chose a sleek sophisticated bun. By wearing a bun with this dress, it helps show off the gorgeous lace detailing of the dress. For the nails, I thought that Laney by Zoya was the perfect shade because it shimmers like sliver, similar to the way snow shimmers in the sunlight. When it came to the makeup, I chose light natural colored smoky eye. By having a delicate smoky eye is subtle but elegant. Since it was a winter wonderland themed wedding, I chose snowflake inspired jewelry. I chose a necklace that would have a bridesmaid's initial and snowflake and snowflake stud earrings.
Lastly, to complete the look, I chose a silver Tory Burch clutch from Nordstroms. The Tory Burch symbol is similar to a snowflake, which benefits the winter wonderland wedding theme.
And there you have it; a navy and silver winter wedding. I hope you enjoyed my vision and take tips away to give to any future winter brides that you know.

Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) IHSA Horse Show
Today was the first half of the LBCC Horse Show. The (WWU) team did such a great job today! I did well too coming first in my class. The horse I rode, Hazel was such a great ride. I owe my win to my teammates, coach and to Hazel.
I do not have any pictures of the second day, however I did very well. I placed 1st in my second day of showing. This resulted in me pointing into 2B. If I do well this weekend, I may point out of 2B into 3A, which I believe means I would go to Regionals.

Spring Breeze with Warby Parker
Hello everyone! I have been given this fabulous opportunity to help Warby Parker announce their Spring 2015 collection of eyewear.
Looking at this collection, I immediately thought of spring break and those relaxing afternoons on the beach. The colors Warby Parker chose for this collection are just breathtaking especially since they bring the ocean world to life. From shades of blue to shades of coral, this collection is truly inspired by the ocean.
While looking through this collection, I found 4 pairs that I fell in love with instantly because of how they reminded me of the ocean and its beauty.
The third pair I loved was the Cass Blue Slate Fade. For me, this makes me think of when the ocean color fades from the light blue water at the shore into the dark blue of the outer waters. I love that Warby Parker captured the ocean's beauty in this pair as well as in the collection.
The last and final pair I fell in love with was the Daisy Aurelia Tortoise. This pair makes me think of the beautiful mother of pearl. It's the way the light hits the purple and coral pink hues of the frame. To me, it looks as though if it you tilted it a certain way, it would shimmer like the way mother of pearl does in the sunshine.

The first pair I came to love was the Carnaby Blue Coral. The design of this frame really captures that striking red color of the coral against the turquoise hue of the water. You can see where the water peaks through each part of the coral.
The second pair I came to love was the Theo Striped Beach. This pair's frame reminds me so much of the sandy floor of the ocean. Since the color is dark, it makes me think of the times when the sand becomes wet and becomes a shade darker than when it was dry. This has captured the beauty of the sandy beaches.
I definitely see the same shade of the sand in this photo of my dog laying in the water as I do in the frame.

December 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Product Review
Tate deluxe lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
I really loved this mascara. It is a great size for the purse and really gives some life to your lashes with just a few swipes. Ladies, go and get this mascara. It works wonders. Travel size cosmetics are perfect for the purse because they take up little space.
Beauty Without Cruelty A.H.A. 3% Facial Cleanser
I like this cleanser for few reasons. It's cruelty free for one reason. I love products that are cruelty free because it gives me a peace of mind to know I am using a product that puts no animals at harm. I also liked the result it gave my skin after I used it. I use this with my Clarisonic and my skin feels so clean and crisp after I use it.
Pix by Petra Fairy Dust
This is a lovely eyeshadow. It has a lovely packaging and an awesome applicator. I found that I could buy this product at Target! I love when stores carry brands I love at a good price.
Swissco Electroplated Eyelash Curler
I was desperately in need of a new eyelash curler and Ipsy read my mind by sending me this beautiful electroplated eyelash curler. Every girl needs an eyelash curler, it is a must-have in the beauty section of the bathroom. I love this curler because it really gives my lashes some glorious oomph.
Butter Lip Balm by NYX Cosmetics
From Ipsy |
I am sorry to say that I accidentally washed this when I was doing laundry. But overall, this is great product. I enjoyed the flavor and shade I received. Ipsy sent me this lip balm in Marshmallow, which was a pure nude. It was a lovely shade of nude.
